Yamaha MT-09 अब एक advanced AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) variant के साथ भी आती है, जिसमें paddle shifters दिए गए हैं जो handlebar के left side पर लगे हैं। इससे gear shifting और भी आसान और sporty बन जाती है।
